For me music, it's just sound, ball games, taken far too seriously for simple past time s.

Same on both counts. I dislike it when people play misuc in a workshop: it's bl**dy distracting and as you say, noise.

School sports taught me to loath sports: my main skill is staying well away from the ball.

When I first thought about it I agreed with the music and art things, but then realised it’s probably anything with ‘creativity’. I can visualise things readily and manipulate items in my mind, but can’t come up with anything artistic.

I can usually turn my hand to any sport and give it a half decent go, but surfing eludes me.

Never tried surfing
but I was OK at Windsurfing
when I went on a course I was the only one who managed to get the thing actually sailing on the first morning
of course, I did have the advantage of doing a lot of sailing before so I knew how the wind and sails work together

but I was amazed that I found standing on the board easy(ish)

I should add that this was in warm water in Greece so I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt
windsurfing in cold water seems a bit daft to me!!!

Most creative tasks - though in the last few years I have taken up woodturning, but that isn't quite the same as creating from scratch, as you only have a limited choice of things to do with a spinning piece of wood.

Singing. Which is a pity, because I love song, and I love to sing. I *think* that since I had my current hearing aids I have improved in terms of singing along with other people, but I still can't hold a tune myself. Though I can now hear when I am going wrong, which is a major improvement.

Singing

I've been thrown off karaoke and even barred before, not from the pub mind just the karaoke. Imagine the worst x factor audition crossed with the sound of a mating rhino and that's what I sound like lol
I like music but I can't sing at all. I struggled trying to tune one guitar string to another, I could get close but then couldn't determine whether it was too sharp or too flat, it was never right.

Can't multitask
Can't sing
Got no rhythm
..and tidying up after myself isn't a strong point either.
I can actually multitask. My ex said I could talk and p!55 her off at the same time.

During my engineering apprenticeship I part trained as a draughtsman. I've never met a draughtsman who could draw anything freehand, no matter how good they were at their job. They are two separate skills, one involving geometric precision and the other being able to hold an image in your head while you put it down on canvas.
I was a draughtsman but can't draw freehand for toffee.

"Foreign" Languages.
I thought foreign languages were just like English but slower and louder. ^_^

I don't garden. I'm more of a "beat back the wilderness" kinda guy. Chainsaws, machetes, etc. although I do use a scythe when the grass gets too long.
