Beef done in a slow cooker.Roasties,cabbage Yorkshire puddings,yes Mrs P has got them off to a fine art,gravy made with the beef juices,my son liked that.Finished off with the most superb light Apple pie,made by our daughter,and lashings of custard.

Nice, salmon needs to be tinned for a while to get a bit of flavour.

? Really where on earth do you get salmon with no taste. Tinned salmon does not taste of salmon and in any case is probably from Pacific salmon imported from USA and full of who knows what.

Not my choice, it’s what my parents kindly fed me, I’m not able to go shopping or even prepare my own meals currently or even make a cup of tea!! I’ve not been able to get into the kitchen safely since I got here!

Leftovers + fresh pigs in blankets just about now....

That's for the toddler, he talks a good talk but in all honesty he's a bit of a lightweight when it comes to proper cheese.

After all the big heavy meals, this was a nice supper, Homity pie, salad and broccoli, the Homity pie is like a potato and onion pasty, my wife made it, it was delicious.

Lunch was turkey, stuffing & cranberry sauce, tea was turkey salad
Tomorrow lunch will be turkey, tea will be a turkey dinner.
Monday I'm back at work, so it'll be turkey sarnies & then turkey curry for tea
Tuesday left over turkey curry for lunch at work & hopefully there won't be much of it left after that
