But if I had to listen to only five albums for the rest of my life they would be:


Hounds of Love: Kate Bush
London Calling: The Clash
What's Goin' On: Marvin Gaye
Exile on Main Street: Rolling Stones
Born to Run: Bruce Springsteen

No obscurities. Remember, obscure records are usually obscure for a good reason.

No jazz. As Buddy Holly once said, "Jazz is for stay-at-homes". Although I like David Axelrod. Does that count?

As far as I can make out Scandanavian culture consists in its entirety of doing decent jazz and writing clever murder stories.

Is that anything to do with the Henning Mankell / Kurt Wallender books. I always enjoy them...dark and brooding. Does that reflect the Scandanavian psyche ?
I see there's a new series on TV soon..Wallender. I assume it's based on the books. Could be good.
