There are many places in the college to park my bike, but I choose the staff parking (because its sheltered and has lockable cages). I park my bike right next to a foldable bike which has quite a bit of kit on it. It looks pretty cool!. The owner even used SPD's on it and has drop bars. I havent met the owner but the bike is always there in the morning and always gone in the evening.
They even use a little ramp to prevent the bike from rolling back (a door stop thingy).

So what bikes do you park next to?

Any bike that might have more appeal to a thieving scrote than mine.

Other than that, I hadn't really given it much thought.

If it's anything like my work it's probably someone who is storing their bike there and rarely gets ridden.

Varies from day to day. there are over 300 spaces for bikes at work and each day is different. Could be a push up and beg, a tt bike or a 4 grand carbon beauty.

The next best bike. Less about thief issues, more about knowing they'll take their bike out without toppling every other bike in the vicinity (the racks still suck ATM).

I used to park the hybrid wherever I could get a space and always in the staff bike cage if I could. The Brom never leaves my sight and stays under my desk and the road bike just doesn't get brought to work. Neither of the two big bikes have left the house in months though

I work in a pre-school so my bike gets stored inside along with a bunch of other tricycles and scooters, all of which are designed for 4 year olds, the kids still don't think my bike is cool, mostly because it isn't red.
