..just to add to the confusion the LBS said I could have the Via Nirone alu carbon in celeste with white bars and saddle similar to the 1885...hmm....so I messed around in photoshop a bit and if I got the via nirone with whaite saddle and bars it would look a bit like this:

I think thats better than the celeste saddle and bar tape...

To get a Bianchi in any other colour than Celeste is like buying a yellow Ferrari - just not done!

100% agree!

There should be no need to ask. By asking you have shown you do not really deserve a Bianchi

And another thing: Bianchi with Campag, not Shimano...

Aaargh, I have the same problem as you BTFB! I would say Celeste but it's very difficult to match with your gear (look at the Barloworld kit: not nice!), but this red is not very good (white is nice though) so Celeste!

Oh, and Campy of course (Veloce is available for £850, so you can buy the kit with the change!)

I think the colour of your bike depends on a number of factors:

-predominant colours in your wardrobe
-skintone
-eye colour

If you're final choices have come down to red or blue, colours at the opposite end of the spectrum, then you haven't done your homework BTFB.
