Thanks and thanks to everybody else. (2) I bought a folder via Ebay that came without them, then I had trouble trying (via the phone) to ask my LBS for some. Now I can go down with confidence.

Well don't keep us in suspense, Mark. What do you call them, these "metal bars that provide the tension when adjusting your brake" (whichever part they are)? Did your LBS call them the same?
