Son no. 2 is 17 today so we've done some 'real world' driving and now en route to Scarborough where he's racing in a 2/3/4 on Oliver's Mount.

Fourteen years to the day I reached the end of the SWCP after six weeks of walking. I’d no schedule, just walked each day and it was coincidence that my last days walking was 4th July. One “ interesting “ stat, my backpack with all my kit weighed 10 kg, when I weighed myself after the walk I’d lost a total of 10 kg in body weight.
