Makes no difference to me, I have a 1.5 stone bag of beer permanently strapped round my waist so mincing around over a few punds/ounces on the road bike is pointless till I can wittle that down!

I had one of those too mate (at the start of the year I was almost 2 stone heavier than I am now) - only got around 1/2 stone left - still too heavy to ever be a decent climber so I've tried to lose the weight elsewhere

My only road bike is the fixed which weighs 18.2lbs.

No idea, light enough but not as light as others and way lighter than makes a difference to the lardy mass on top of it - FFS!

My race bike is 8.2Kg (18lbs?) ready to ride (with bottle cages but no bottles, pump bracket but no pump, and without tribars). Dolan carbon monocoque frame, Mavic Ksyrium ES wheels, mostly Centaur kit but Chorus carbon crankset.

My cross bike is just over 9Kg (20 lbs?) in similar state, and depending on tyres (some cross tyres are remarkably heavy). Dolan aluminium frame, carbon forks, mainly Veloce groupset, home-built wheels on Record hubs with DT Swiss rims.

My Cannondale mountain bike is 11.8Kg. Lefty fork, SRAM transmission. Again tyres make up a noticeable proportion of the weight - it came with Hutchinson Scorpion Airlights, which saved at least 500 grammes but punctured as soon as the bike was take out of doors.

Using the bathroom scales method..

Scott Addict = 6.4kgs (14.1lbs)
Giant Omnium = 7.9kgs (17.4lbs) inc road wheels and tri bars

Still need to lose 10Kgs from my weight

o.o below the UCI limit! (i think)

Mine is seventeen and a half pounds, although I usually carry a lock, toolkit, and, at night, four lights. When I cycle with the Babe I also carry phones and make-up. This can add quite a bit.

Her bike is much lighter. S'not fair.

Which version of the C50 do you have Dell?, its absolutely gorgeous. I did a quick search but couldn't work out which model you have from the rear view pic. Have you got a full side on picture ? How on earth can it weigh 8lbs less than mine ?

Thank god at least I don't have to carry makeup. My complexion is pretty good for an old git

Squire
Racer - Vitus 979 - 10kg
Fixie - Dawes 653-framed - 9kg

So, steel lighter than aluminium. Then again, the difference is probably the bits. If I took the bits off the 979 and put them on the Dawes, they'd probably switch around.

My fixed must be about that then, maybe a little lighter because i dont have have mudguards and stuff on it.
Not bad weight.

It should be ...I've got light weight seat, stem, bars and saddle post, and XT SPD's so some weight shaved off there....

I know its under limit, but so is a lot of others who race, until the BC brings in mandatory weigh-ins for everyone I'm not bothered, plus the UCI limit (15lbs) is stupid and out dated, in the beginning it was to help riders have bikes that are strong enough to survive a race, mine most definitely is very strong and resilient, more than safe. Plus I'm sure I could knock another 200+g off its weight with little cost, maybe taking the Garmin 705 and spare tub off will bring it down, but I weighed it how I ride it (less bottle though)
