Last night I watched Operation Secret. A 1952 film about a unit of french soldiers during the second world war who discover there is a traitor among them.
The odd thing about the film was that it was an american film, with all american actors, about a french army unit. Unusual in that Americans didn't usually make world war 2 films based on another country. Its usually all about Americans who win the war single handedly with a bit of help from the allies.
It was based on a true story, and once I got used to all the americans, it wasn't a bad film. Karl Maldon playing a french army major was a challenge though I must admit.
