Extinction.
On Netflix. Clever stuff, you think you know what's happening, typical sci-fi, aliens invade blah blah blah...,but there's a huge twist 3/4 of the way through.

It was ok, very interesting basis to the storyline, but it left me a bit...i dunno, meh.

It was good, but not earth shattering (excuse the pun)

Mother on sky cinema.

Very strange film.

We sat down to watch Guardians of the Galaxy, as chosen by my 8 year old nephew. Oh well never mind I thought, but it really was great fun. Witty script, enough twists and turns in the story which was reasonably consistant with its internal logic rather than full of atupied holes, was really entertaining and it looked superb. Great undemanding fun !

Nothing wrong but nothing particularly great the story has just been done too many times imo.

Nice cast, like Dallas watsface and the guy.

Mission Impossible: Fallout

Boom.

Kick ass.

If you like these two phrases, you’ll love this movie. Undercurrent is to massage the ego of the male, forty-fiftyish, divorcee trying to get over his ex, but it’s not too obvious about it.

Loved it, so did my son.

I liked it. Thought it was a K Dick rerun, but they added some extra elements to make it fresh (unless my memory is failing me).

Proper sci fi.

Great film. Shame Disney have been massive, hypocritical twats and booted the director from the third installment so it probably won't reach a logical or satisfying conclusion.

American Heist.
I hate the American portrayal of the 'punk/no good/criminal' characters, swaggering, swearing, thinking they're cool kinda thing...i hate that stuff and fell asleep 1/4 way through. Woke up as they're robbing the bank and it certainly livened up and got my attention.
Wouldn't watch it again but it provided me with an hours entertainment and half an hours sleep.

Had a night in and watched Guardians of the Galaxy 2. While not quite as good as the first film, it was very good entertainment, and I'm looking forward to the third of the trilogy.
