The Zone of Interest. Horrifying, the the really horrifying stuff happening off screen but certainly in your mind. A hard watch, but a very worthwhile one.

The book is a pretty brutal read. Not sure how closely the film is based on it.

Loosely adapted- apart from being based around the real Höss and family, there is no affair (by her), no Sonderkommando appear in the film.. The film is definitely its own thing.

I watched “Fall” really good but don’t watch if you can’t stand heights.
Two best friends Becky and Hunter decide to climb a 2000-foot-tall, abandoned tower. Soon, they find themselves stranded on it after the corroded ladder breaks.

The 1966 release of 'What did you do in the War Daddy - ?'
A WW2 comedy with a strong cast and an unlikely plot with even more unlikely developments as the 'plot thickens' as my bro used to say. :okay:
A madcap film, but even more enjoyable for it and featuring Carrol O'Connor as a nutty general with Denis Healy eyebrows on a pre run to his appearance in 'Kelly's Hero's' - !

Loved that. The type of film that's only that satisfying once though. Can you believe they are making 2 sequels to it?

I watched Forest Gump last night, it's one of those films I'm pretty certain I have seen all the way through but I only ever remember catching bits of it. It's also one of my favourite Vietnam war films, something that is central to it's plot but I think gets overlooked.

The terminal.

It was rubbish.

Tom Hanks at his worst!

He tries about 30 different accents throughout the film.

I saw it at the cinema and loved it. You might also enjoy "Frozen" if you like that sort of thing; no not the one with Elsa in it, the one where the skiiers get stranded on a ski lift all night
