No gifts, just spending time together doing something that we both love.

Usually we go cycling or climbing hills, but the weather forecast wasn't too good, so we did some baking instead. Head over to the baking thread on Food and Drink for some Cinnamon Bun porn if you are interested.

Father's day has brought my mate 10 days of self isolation . He (and other family members) got together on Sunday with his daughter, who then tested positive yesterday for Covid after showing some symptoms.
Trouble is, I met up with him on Monday afternoon for about an hour, inside and outside. That makes me a contact of a contact, which does not require self isolation unless he tests positive himself. Having been for a test today, he awaits the results within 24/48 hours.
Meantime I am being a bit cautious, and had to cancel plans last night to watch Scotland's exit from the Euro's. Not quite self isolating, but didn't consider it sensible to go and visit other people, just in case.
