A morning of chain cleaning and lubrication on 5 of my bikes.

Also experimented with swapping the wheels & tyres between the two Spa Elans while the Ti is laid up awaiting me getting a bleed kit for the brakes, but decided to stick with them as they are.

Have you pushed the pistons back before fitting the new ones ?

yes its not the piston thats the issue the actual gap to slide the pad in is slightly too small .

My kitchen window looks out to a path and the surgery. It's clear glass.

I ordered a roll of stuff from Amazon.

And spent far too long cutting a piece that fitted. Just about.

I hope it'll be better in sunlight...
