Started on my latest Brompton project, always love working on a bike outside. The triangle is toast!

Fettled the better half's Cotic including slapping lots of grease in the Halo freehub body to make it less aggressive sounding and started stripping the black Pelago rack to stainless.

It wasn't me!
Loving the bar tape😃
It complements the bottle cage under the down tube.

Fettled today: Installed brake cables on the Preamble replacement with fiddling the rear brake cable through the down tube and adjusting the brakes afterwards. The actual Campagnolo Veloce 10 speed brifters combined with TRP Spyre brakes with Jagwire KEB-SL and polished Jagwire brake cables are not that much worse than the hydraulic Shimano GRX 400 brakes on my Ridley X-Ride.
But the Campagnolo brifters suits my hands much better than the Shimano brifters and the same applies to the control concept.

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Not really a 'fettle' yet, more an 'arrival, check-over and adjust' but ...

... yesterday I picked up what I'd hoped was a 1984 Peugeot PY10 LS Professional, given the sticker below which was what originally piqued my interest:

It's a 52cm frame - which isn't listed so will be originally a 'female' frame - that's seen a lot of miles but been well looked after. As a result most of the original components have been changed / updated and my guess is only the Weinmann Carrera 400 front brake and Peugeot / Stronglight crankset are original:

The bike works well so to date all I've done is adjust the seat post up and remove what was thick tape on the rear downstays as the Peugeot has done a lot of touring miles. Underneath that, and elsewhere, the chrome / paint has gone so I'll have to work out what to do with it all:

Technically I only want the Mavic MA2 7-speed wheels for the Pug 653 project I'm working on, but I'll get working on this as well. So far I've found:

- Paint missing on the whole bike, including almost all the chrome on the rear.
- The Atax 26.4 seatpost looks lovely but the quill-stem type allen key bolt is very worn.
- Worn quill stem bolt.
- Replacement tyres needed and then working out the original components if needed, with the specification here.
