i bought this bike at a garage sale for 20 bucks does anyone know what it is and if its good? i know its missing parts but im fixing it up so ya let me know if you have any ideas thank you

its a very old pro flex. check on the mtbr forum pro flex section. I'm loving the girvin forks

thanks for the reply and just out of curiosity does anyone know anything about the rubber stuff that was on the shocks before?

Elastomer. It was a sort of rubbery thing, that gave a little 'movement'.

Most of the original elastomers will have perished over time. I think someone on MTBR or it may have been retrobike has managed to find a source for replacements, so you 'may' be able to find something.
