I've learned loads and loads about cycling, maintenance etc, there's always something funny or entertaining to read, there seem to be some genuinely lovely people on here, I've met some of them, cycled with them, stayed in their homes or been offered to do so, and though I tend to steer clear of the politics threads, I occasionally read them for interest.
