Hybrids are closer to mountain bikes in geometry and gearing. Gravel bikes are closer to Road bikes in both.
All just labels. I have a pure 'road' frame, if you will, with wide-range gearing and flat bars. It's a hybrid in the true sense, being actually built from a mix of 'labels'.I think Freiston was closer.

I suppose I was thinking more along the marketing lines - what the bikes are sold as, rather than what they are in reality.
