And you aren't even a beagle?
I didn't know which was the worst; the fact that they didn't think I was worth giving a pack of 20............or the fact that I had given up smoking 3 years earlier!

Years & years ago my dad bought my mum a cameo brooch (not the "word up" fella")
"Very nice, thank you" she said, secretly thinking"bloody awful"
For years to come she had cameo rings, pendants etc for Christmas and birthday. Now he's dead I never see her wearing them. Funny that....

Microwave oven leakage detector. WTF?:wacko:

as an aside a colleague of me ex-Mrs bought one of those as he was mildly concerned about radiation leakage from his microwave. Tried it out - zero reading. Can't be working as it should surely be showing a low value. How to force it to give a reading to confirm it's working?

..... I think you can guess the rest

Many years ago (on the 90s), 'we' decided that one of 'the gang' was big Peter Andre fan. The fact that he wasn't didn't stop him from being gifted the Peter Andre annual, the Peter Andre doll, the Peter Andre calendar and many other Peter Andre bits and bobs (the charity shops were full of it)... at least we found it funny. :blush:

I'm sure that I'm not alone in receiving some shockers?

Mine was this dvd several years ago, from my ex mother-in law. She obviously hadn't a clue about me. I never watched it, as I just had a gut-feeling that it would be utter shite. I sold it on ebay for about a quid. It was obviously from the bargain bucket in poundland. My ex mother-in-law was present at the opening of the present though. I don't think I could conceal my disappointment.

I've actually seen this catastrophe.

You've not missed much.

Filmed entirely on location at Rugby Park then ?
:laugh::tongue:

I'll shut the door behind me

Funnily enough, there is a film which features Rugby Park - A Shot at Glory.

Robert Duvall is in it, as is Allly McCoist and a bunch of other Scottish 'players'.

It's really not very good at all, but it's worth watching just to laugh at Duvall's woeful attempt at a Glaswegian accent.
