Many years ago my Nan's cat caught and ate a neighbours prize goldfish. They'd had it for years and the thing was huge. We were alerted to the problem by the shrieks from a few doors down of "you wicked cat".

Luckily they were good about it and didn't insist on a direct replacement. They're expensive things those mature goldfish!

My cat got bitten by a squirrel and had to have stitches and be kept indoors.
Being used to the great outdoors he had no real experience of litter trays but had to use one,he wasn't impressed so held it in for 3 days.
Back to vets who gave him an injection, 2 minutes later back in the car and let's just say he 'let loose'

Oh god, forgot about cat pee in cars. Our older two hate going in the box - they are only in it for 10 mins till we get to the vet.

They used to pee or poo when young - we learnt fast when one pee'd out of the box all over the back seat. Took months and months to get rid of the smell.

I dont have a cat, but have been befriended by this cat who walks through the back garden each evening ...very cute and its got me thinking I may get one or two myself. A broke friends cat recently had a medical issue and was about to die at the vets..he said it will die if this £500 op isnt happening...what is a guy supposed to do...:angel:UCH!

Far from the worst thing for us (where do you start? live rat? decomposing squirrel? several members of an endangered species?) but ours once deposited a fresh filleted trout on the mat by the catflap.

It could only have come from our neighbours kitchen but we couldn't bring ourselves to mention it to them. I sometimes wonder what kind of discussion went on there about the missing fish.

I don't eat meat, so my cats couldn't believe their luck when my meat eating ex husband moved in.

Black cat was once found chewing on a particularly nice piece of fillet that had been left unattended for a few moments. A quick rinse under the tap and ex never noticed the tooth marks

On a more serious note, just back from a particularly wet camping trip the other day had to errect tent in living room to dry out, of course tabby cat thought this an ideal spot to go for a massive wee - she is alive to tell the tale - just.

Whenever mine wants to be fed and I go into the kitchen to feed her, she always walks right in front of me, tripping me up. I think she doesnt understand that the longer she holds me up, the longer it will take for her to have food.
