I once woke with my hair stuck the pillow. I pulled free, looked down and thought I must have had a nose bleed as the pillow and duvet were covered in blood...... then I saw the fresh corpse of the young rabbit my cat had brought me as a present. The cat was sat on the foot of the bed looking very pleased with himself.
At about the same time we had a (for then) massive TV, a huge square 30" thing that needed 2 people to move. The cats used to sit on the back of it as it was quite warm..... This was fine till one of them had a bout of diarrhea. When the repair crew from Radio Rentals turned up to take the now broken TV back I had to play dumb and deny any knowledge of what the cause may have been. I still feel sorry for the poor technician who would have had o open up the back of the set.

Worst thing our cat did was cross the road at the wrong time. We were sitting in front of the telly when we heard this sound of distress in the hall. There he was blood-covered, dragging his back leg over which the car had driven. In that state he had climbed two 6 foot high fences to get home. Taking him straight to the vet the options were amputation (cheap) or to try to save the leg (expensive). We voted pro-leg. It took weeks of vet visits, every 3 days the bandage had to be changed but at last the leg was healed and the fur grew back. His trust in us was rewarded. No idea how much it cost but we'd still make the same choice.

Things the Cats,who have hired my family (Dogs have owners, cats have staff) have done
1) Sit on a wall a teased next doors racing greyhounds. This lasted until they got a bigger greyhound who could put his paws and head on the wall. First time I have seen a VTOL cat
2) Get stuck on top of the kitchen cabinet and to get down would jump down on anyone passing by.
3) Wondered what Chicken Vindaloo tasted like. Never went near a takeout tin tray again
4) Got locked inside a Greenhouse when released, we found that all the cat height fruit and veg had cat bite marks in them
5) One cat was very happy to sleep on a car seat when being driven, when the car stopped she would have a look out all the windows and then go back to sleep. This lasted until one year we stopped at a service station on the M1. I opened the door and the cat legged it. Manged to get the cat back in the car and after that we ensured that the cat was in a box the whole time
6) One cat hated the cat box and added a third state to the Schrödinger's cat experiment (Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious) and would go off like a Claymore mine.

My two joined forces in a blatent attempt to kill me by tripping me up at the top of the stairs a couple of years ago. I nearly fell, just about managed to grab banister so was ok, however to grab banister I had to drop both of my slr camera bodies I was in the process of moving downstairs to clean. Both cameras buggered. Luckily I had seperate camera insurance as the bill to repair was about £550 for them both.

we had one that used to bring in mice/rats and then let them go 
another one once jumped onto my wife's dinner (it was on her lap, on a plate of course), immediately after visiting the litter tray. he then once left a lovely big poo on my daughter's bed while we were on holiday and the estate agent was showing people round. obviously not mad keen to make a sale, as they left it 'till we got back…

A mate of mine had the biggest, hardest ginger cat I've ever seen, looked like it was a cross with a tiger and totally dominated the neighbourhood moggies. Thought nothing of seeing off any dog that came by no matter what it's size. Despite that a real softie with humans, especially kids and was never known to even put a claw out to a child. His most notable achievement was witnessed by my mate who watched him struggling backwards through the cat flap ( actually a dog flap, this mog was so big) dragging a fully grown, live cock pheasant by the neck. Mates wife insisted on taking said bird to the vets, who must have thought Christmas had come early.

My cat got stuck on the wardrobe and I had to rescue her. She also chases off next doors cat when ever she sees him. I think she is a bit of a bruiser but a total softy with us.
