We're on it and we still get the odd call.
To be honest, the TPS is a bit toothless. Companies are *asked* to abide by the no-call list, but there is nothing to make them. If they choose to ignore it, they will. Or say that you have given permission for them to call (through NOT ticking a box on a form you don't remember filling in 18 months ago) and that the TPS doesn't apply in that case. Or that the TPS doesn't apply because they are based outside the UK. The majority of nuisance calls I used to get were international and had never heard of the TPS (yes, I asked them). It's a great idea, but it relies on cold-calling companies playing nicely, and that tends to be a concept they don't recognise.

Love these

Ask which accident because I have ha half a dozen, then make one up.... They will agree that is the one

Answer the questions in as gory detail as possible describing the total carnage at the scene

Then point out that the Police said you were not entitled to claim for the damage to the car I was uninsured

The ask if the traces of crack cocaine in your blood and the fact you blew 150 on the breathalyser would affect the claim?

For some reason they hang up at about this point

Just ask for the supervisor, ask if they are aware of Section 17 of the Telecommunications act 2015 and that you need their details.... Simply repeat more firmly each time they ask you something.........Again they hang up pretty quickly

PS they won't have heard of it as it doesn't exist
