One of my schoolmates from primary school is the younger brother of Casper, whose name was called out in the playground sounds of Pink Floyd's Another Brick In The Wall, Part Two (album version)

A previous comment reminded me.
Anyone remember the French singer François Hardy ?
I went to see her at Liverpool Uni approx 1966. After the show I had a full on snog with her.
Not that I am bothered about her luscious lips and great figure. It made no impression on me ^_^

A relative, now deceased, married Biddy Early. Another, deceased again, went onto find the Gorteenreagh Hoard, when he went to clear a fairy fort from his land.
Done to prove there was nothing under the fort, and there was no danger to him from the fairies.

There's a family connection between the two of them.

Are you saying there was no fairy curse?

If we're doing family now, I'm a direct descendent of Sir Rupert Kettle

Yes, that is a real person and a real name, not just what I call one of my most important kitchen appliances. It's an anglicisation of the French Huguenot Quitel. He was a 19th C lawyer who pioneered the concept of arbitration in employment disputes, and has a blue plaque in Wolverhampton

Oh and he had a son called.... AC Kettle.
