With the winter fast approaching and that I’m planning a LEJOG starting late May I’m going to be spending more time than previous years in the garage. My setup has evolved, having tried a Tacx Flow then a basic roller followed by a Suunto Elite roller then last year I bought Keiser M3i spin bike.
Ive used Zwift for a number of years but last year I mixed it up with some free Studio Sweat on demand YouTube classes. The Keiser also has programmes, including ftp tests and interval training.
45 to 60 minutes is my normal duration for a session.
My preference is to be out on the road and unless it’s icy or extreme wind or rain I do still commute on my bike and try for longer weekend rides.
Should I look at other platforms such as Rouvy or give in to my base instincts and pay for online spin classes. What do others do to maintain interest ?
