I didn't need any motorvation this morning as when I woke I checked the time on the bedside clock then just pulled the duvet closer and drifted back into slumber until 9am. Day off. Had I been going to work then I would MTFU and get on with it.

I'm not in work and still did an hour on the bike today! Was lovely.

Wasn't a lot of fun this morning, but I didn't feel tempted by the car, even for a second. I can't imagine what weather would actually put me off TBH.

Have no choice as I don't have a car!!

Same here, I can get the bus but I don't like it, and I'd rather save money.
I had a choice this morning of spending nearly an hour walking to work or 15 minutes on my bike, the bike won of course. It was pretty cold and I have lost my thermal hat  so my ears were cold, but I still enjoyed it  I was worried it was going to be icy but I cycled on the road (as opposed to the cycle path) and it was fine. I didn't see as many other cyclists this morning though!

I leave my car at work so have to cycle in. My back up plan is to wake the wife and ask for a lift  Motivation enough to get on the bike.

The rewards - dawn chorus, blue kingfisher at the river, no traffic hassles, exercise done for day and a sense of happiness/contentment. Why would you need motivation.

You could also take the Sean Kelly approach:
David Harmon once asked Sean Kelly was the weather ever too bad for him to train and he replied, in his inimitable style, "well, David, I'd always have gone out anyway, and decided afterwards whether it had been too bad..."

I can. The storm of 4-6 January 12. I rode on the first of the three day storm and it hurt. I had to get off and push my bike on a flat road cause my lowest gear, 26 inches, was not low enough for the 80mph winds.

I don't need motivating to cycle to work, I now have a car and will drive if its raining in the morning, I did over 30 years car free and cycle commuting in all weathers, but if its dry I would rather use the bike.

Yes, that would do it!
