I also spend a bit of time dreaming up and sketching bits of furniture that are likely to never be made. Here's one that did get made....
i deliberately used the thinnest ply i could get away with to maximise the amount of DVDs it'd hold.. so it's 6mm and 9mm ply. I do plan on rebuilding it with hardwood, altering the flow of the curves just a little and making it a bit 'meatier'. There's also a CD version in the pipeline... but whether that'll ever exist I don't know.

I don't really have hobbies. They are more like "phases" that I go through. Past "phases" have included reading, watching films, running, cycling, building computers and making models. Current "phases" are learning to play the guitar, drinking wine and shooting people in the face on games consoles. I tend to revisit past phases but not very often or for any prolonged period of time.
