What is cross?

I took it to be Cyclocross, which would be a great addition to the Winter Olympics IMO.

Oi! Nowt wrong with lawn bowls.

Crown green bowls is only played by three men and a whippet in the North West anyway.

I think you are right, but given there is already ski cross, and cross country skiing it was a bit ambiguous
