Simple question of what people consider fashinonable. It isn't fashionable for a teenager to ride a nice steel framed road bike. It is fashionable for them to ride a too small full suspension supermarket special with the saddle set too low.

if your wanting a cheap bike to ride to the pub on that doesn't stand out - silver fox skip bike, blends in, unlikely to get nicked, the lack of hassle is worth the cost apparently
