We're vacationing in Bend, Oregon right now. Saw this crazy thing ride/drive by in downtown. It has pedals, but can you call this a bike? Come to find out, there's a Cycle Pub here… combining beer and… sorta, cycling. Interesting. Anyone seen anything like this before?

Yeah, it's been doing the rounds as a charity event. Get a bunch of people to go somewhere and rasie money doing so.

They do it as a tour the city, drink Amstel thing I think. It turned round by the pub we were in when we were last there. No idea if it uses cycle paths, but it's a big old thing.

I've seen them in London. They do get in the way of cyclists - cyclists who probably want to get to a quieter place to have a drink.
