I don't even understand the question, let alone know the answer!

(Actually, I might know the answer - I know lots of answers. Matching them to the right questions is the tricky bit ...)

God!!!!Don't create new posts at just past midnight on the beginning of Saturday morning. Just to clarify her name was Babs!!!! Prefered Elke Somer personally.
That said the ladies in the Hammer Horror films were a treat!!

Starty with the Openage Ceremole, from rurally idyllopers with trickly-how on the village greem there, to industrimole revoluters, all soot’n’chimblers amid dark satanny millage – what a spectaculode! Thousels of peeploders, each grinny from eardrobe to eardrobe, warbly the music from Elgarb to Dizzily Rascold, and choreograbbles all hoof’n’shufflit with the rhythmold. Deep joy!

huffer essex word for huge bap
OK. I know what "huge baps" are. I've seen Carry-on movies.
My sister came up here, walked into a chippie and asked for a 'chip batch' and the staff didn't have a clue what she was on about!

I went into a shop in Burnley which was selling 'oven bottoms' and I didn't know what they were!

It seems like there are different words for those things in many parts of the country - rolls, batches, baps, teacakes, oven bottoms, er - huffers ...

There is nothing Yorkshire folk enjoy more than pointing out to foreigners how they call their bread something different to the next town down the road. I don't care, I've lived here for 20 years, I know about the bread thing, I just want my lunch.
