QUite liked it

bit preachy and the concept is a bit shaky

and Russell Tovey is not the best choice IMO

but worth watching

Yeah the enviromental message being hammered home, nothing wrong with that of course but it's not as if literally everyone doesn't know by now anyway.

We've started watching Summerwater (channel 4 I think) There's promise though I could personally do with a little more story and a touch less reliance on ethereal hinting.

Rubbish place for a holiday though, that takes some believing.

Just started watching "Tales from The Loop" - OK not on the telly but my laptop

Weird - but more weird by being very normal

and rather scary without anything scary in it

which shows it is well done

I've been fed a lot of clips from that and it does look pretty good

Came across the TV5Monde+ streaming app the other day.
Great for Francophones or if you just like watching French stuff with English subtitles.
It has films and series of varying quality but some are certainly good.
Nothing I've watched so far has any adverts during the programme which is a bonus.

Im a series in now and its very watchable. The guys a sort of younger Victor Meldrew, but when people wind him up he beats them up or shoots them instead of getting angry.

That sounds interesting. Do they have Engrenages available? It was shown on BBC4, translated as Spiral, but not available on iplayer, and have been wanting to watch it again.

I enjoyed it too. I do love my detective series. I though Cooper & Fry was really good too.
