I have high hopes for the latter, based on the reviews. I know it's a classic book, but I've never managed to read it or watch the whole of previous adaptations - I think because it's such a grim story, I needed to be in the right mood!
Also recorded to watch later this week - and with high hopes - Small Prophets, the new thing from Mackenzie Crook, and hopefully very much in the same spirit as Detectorists.
