Finished Small Prophets last week so thought I'd have a look at The Detectorists.
That one had completely passed me by but I'm really enjoying it.

LOADS of people rave about this on the Walter Presents fb page, so my partner and I did try the first couple of episodes, but just wasn't for us.
I'd suggest we are very much in the minority though, but it just didn't capture our imagination, and seemed a bit pedestrian for me.
I've just finished the 8th and final episode of Spanish series Honor, and it was fantastic, even better than the Ring, but on a very similar level for me.
Twist after twist, and like the Ring, I did not see the end coming at all - it was gripping edge of your seat stuff, can't recommend it enough.
Quite a few lead actors, the judge chap Walter Presents fans will recognise from both series of Hierro, and I have to say I really rate him.
Looking it up, it appears it is a remake of an Israeli series from 2017 called Kvodo.
There is a Korean version as well, and a US version with Bryan Cranston, though I'd suspect having seen one there is no point in seeing the others - well unless they change the story/outcome I suppose.
I can't recommend it enough, 9.5/10 for me.

Got through to the end of Under Salt Marsh. Couldn't give it more than 6/10 overall.
Was lovely to look at and fairly watchable, but there were plenty of issues. The lead character played by Kelly Reilly was mostly irritating. There were too many lesser characters who weren't really fleshed out, so as suspicion turned from one to another it was hard to keep up with who was who and why they might be the guilty party.

What I really didn't like about last week's SW was the internal monologue bits from Nikki and Harriet.

A couple more missing episodes of the epic Hartnell story, the Daleks' Master Plan have emerged. Going up on i player for easter hopefully. News is on the beeb so seemingly not an annoying false alarm. Even though half this story is still missing, this is great news for geekdom. Couldn't quite work out if the new ones included Nicholas Courntey's first appearance ...
as space agenh Brett Veyron some while before his long run as the Brigadier

Watched the film ( I Swear) All about terets, worth a watch.
I was persuaded to watch this series by my partner - my suspicion is that one her friends recommended it:
It's an 8 part, I suppose you would call it comedy thriller type thing.
We are nearly 6 episodes through.
The first 2-3 were pretty good I thought, but my attention has waned, the plot is all over the place (intentionally I suspect) and I don't really feel invested in ANY of the characters, as in I'm not really bothered what happens to them, or what transpires!
That could just be me of course.
It also seems very 'cartoonish' and it always seem to be up at volume 10 if that makes sense, there's always drama, or something loud or out of the ordinary going on, so much that I think it detracts from the underlying plot.
I love a cartoonish type thing as much as the nest person, I'm a huge fan of the Wes Anderson films, but for me they handle it much differently, and fully commits to it.
I'm invested enough that I want to know what happens, but I equally just want to get to the end and be done with it - this is what happens when I stray from foreign language programs!

I watched that, and had pretty much the same view of it. I would recommend three other series if you have access to the relevant streaming platforms: Bad sisters (Apple I think), The Walsh sisters (BBC), The Revenge Club (Paramount). All have similar themes but IMO have better plots and an overall more grown up feel. On their own we found it worth just getting a months subscription and then cancelling, and trying to binge watch everything else on the platform before the month expires
