For those who like Yellowstone a new series starts Friday ditton ranch , rip and Beth set up a new ranch in Texas.

I only found out about that today! It's the only spinoff I'm interested in as they became my favourite characters, so I'm looking forward to it.

The episode with Patrick Swayze,as a young soldier, who is diagnosed with Leukaemia, after offering to be a blood donor
He wants to stay with his friend, instead of going to Tokyo for treatment
Hawkeye tries to persuade him to go, Mulcahy interjects & stays up all night talking to the Swayze charactor

The sub-plot is a visit by a Cardinal, & Mulcahys attempts to have everything under control/running smoothly

It's possibly the best of Father Mulcahys sermons, & wonderfully majors on both issues

We watched all 7 episodes of Man on Fire on Netflix. A promising start but the plot got increasingly unrealistic and paper thin.

Amazingly, my wife has recently started enjoying watching bike racing - so we watch the last 50kms of most decent races/stages together in the evening - happy days.

Does anyone watch " Bangers and Cash, Restoring Classics" ? Last week a Fiat 500 was bought by the Bangers and Cash team, a 1991 model. You just knew that they were going to loose big time on this one. The car was taken to a restoration company and it was duly stripped and everything re-commissioned. Way over the top. It was like an open cheque book. In my mind a waste of money. Anybody watch this ?

We watched all 7 episodes of Man on Fire on Netflix. A promising start but the plot got increasingly unrealistic and paper thin.

I've watched 3 so far and it's been OK but as you say way overblown and I find lead a bit annoying so to be honest not sure I'll make it through them all.

When you say Fiat 500, do you mean the boxy Cincequento? The original 500 was killed off in the 70s, and the new one didn't appear until the mid 2000s.

Started watching Legends - it's BRILLIANT, only 1 episode in, but I think this is going to be an awesome series.

Actor top left is the lead in Strike, and the actor to his right (As we look at it) was in the most recent series of the night manager.
Don't know the other two I must be honest, and Coogan needs no introduction of course.
Quite a few well known faces in it so far as well, Charlotte Ritchie looks to have a very small role as Strike's partner, but I don't think we will see much of her.
Pretty cool cars and music, set in the 90s.
Had to laugh, as in the first series they visit Green Lanes which is basically Wood Green - somewhere I frequented as a youngster at exactly the time this was set.

My apologies, it was a Fiat 126. I don`t know what made me think it was a 500. Brain storm !

I'd be interested in seeing what you make of the rest: having enjoyed episode 1 we watched about half of episode 2 and it drifted into standard drugs crime procedural.

Widow's Bay (on Apple TV). It seems initially like a sleepy town crime series, but you soon realise it's actually a horror which at times can be more horrific than it needs to be. Very good though. It very much reminds me of Stephen King's "Needful Things" if you like that sort of thing

Currently re-watching The Boys from episode one... just started series three. The death of Termite's boyfriend doesn't get any easier to watch... but it's still bloody funny.

I'm a little sad that it's coming to an end. Last episode is next Wednesday. It's been an absolute riot from start to finish.

Butcher is easily one of my favourite anti-heroes.
