My word, the dialogue in Adolescence episode 2 is clunky. I'm really not trying to trivialise the subject, and I get and respect the programme makers honest and well placed intentions, but reviewed simply as entertainment, it does kinda jar. Like some teenage health advice video, you were half expecting Nancy Reagan to pop up and say 'drugs, just say no'.
I heard Nancy's words and I never did drugs. Surely that is not just a coincidence.
Having watched Adolescence, you will most probably not go on to stab any women. This is the power of Great Drama.
