Is that set in Fife too ?
Suspicion is based in England - but they are in New York at the moment - or the moment we are up to anyway

1000 Men and Me - The Bonnie Blue Story on C4...Bit of an eye opener

I heard it got into quite a bit of bother as they showed footage from the event itself, as long as they put a red triangle in the corner though I thought they'd be ok!

Started watching The Old Man series again.

Brilliant series, excellent actors/acting, good story (not predictable), well filmed, etc. Got both seasons to watch. Real shame they haven't opted to continue after Season 2.

We watched the four part Operation dark phone murder by text. I’d either forgotten or hadn’t heard of Encrochat. Well worth a watch if you like real programming and the work of the NCA.

The effect this had on the underworld is quite staggering.

There's still cases coming up based on the messages intercepted. One last week with the Lead Singer of The Farm's son getting sent down for drug dealing.

We've been watching the second series of Sandman. Based on a Neil Gaiman story the gist of it has the Sandman aka Morphius the lord of dreams and featuring various other gods and intertwined with the realms of humans. Other recurring characters include Lucifer (Gwendoline Christie), Death, Desire, Titania & Oberon, William Shakespeare and so on. In the first series he has been imprisoned by an occultist, hoping to resurrect his dead son, and the series concerns his escape and regaining his power. Second series carries on

Not an action story, talky, looks stunning, and somehow makes it all rather magical and quite emotional on occasion whilst avoiding Russel T Davies mawkishness.

We like it a lot

1923.

Best thing I've seen on TV in years. Just fantastic.

Helen Mirren steals the show and Timothy Dalton is breathtaking as chief protagonist. Solid performances from Harrison Ford, Robert Patrick and Jerome Flynn too.

Very violent, lots of sex (much of it quite graphic and very kinky) multiple plot lines that slowly converge adross 2 series to an explosive conclusion, and a very sad tear-jerker of a final scene.

Very stylish, CGI bits done very well and specifically for the small screen so they look convincing. The plot lopes from the battlefields of WW1, adross Africa and the Mediterranean, and then across the US to the final showdown in Montana.

The first time I've ever seen a prequel that is not only good, but which out classes the original film/tv show and it stands very well on its own.

9.99999 recurring/10.

I'm not sure when it's due out, but The Madison follows on from Yellowstone, so should be good. I like the world the director has built, although some bits are pretty far fetched.

Deadwood is well worth a look if you're into that kind of thing. I haven't seen the follow up film, but the series is great.

Yes, looking forward to the Madison.

RIP and Beth are a helluva pair of characters and their spinoff is also due.

1944 is also in early defelopment.

But seriously Andy, 1923 is brilliant. Sure, it sets up the ancestors of the Yellowstone characters but is easily capable of standing alone.
