I totally agree about laugh tracks but tone of voice is very important in humour.

I watched clips of it for ages without the sound on - for $reasons

so they all have voices of their own in my head

as far as laugh lines go - I once saw an episode of Mash - the US version

the laugh lines were a major shock and a "what the **** did they do that for!

Maybe that is why I found Young Sheldon to be so good. No laughter track, and mostly deadpan humour.

On a whim I am finally getting round to watching Young Sheldon on Netflix. Finished the first series.
Far, far superior to Big Bang Theory in my opinion.
Enjoy both of them, but if you knew the adult sheldon, people would be asking about the new rockery (hiding the body)

It was so good to see Amys charactor grow!

Plus, of course, Leonards mum......
(who was the neighbour in Jim Careys 'The Grinch')

Just remembered that I was watching Snowfall on Iplayer and I've missed the last few seasons. Wolfed down about three yesterday. Great drama about drugs coming to LA back in the 80s.

I loved that when I was a kid, I blame them for me ending up with a Capri 30 years ago.

Bodie drove a Dolly Sprint in series 1. A proper hot rod in its day.

Doyle drove a P6 in most of series 1, and a TR7 in the last few episodes. Even The Professionals couldn't make the TR7 cool.

Just finished, on ITV4
The Professionals

The Rack

Where CI5, & particularly Doyle & Cowley, are under investigation

One of my neighbours, as a kid, had a Dolomite Sprint (as per the early episodes)
His was green, but oddly on chrome 8-spokes, not the correct alloys

Plenty of information here; http://www.mark-1.co.uk/Professionals/

@Drago
Cowley had a SD1, slightly amusingly with a registration beginning with MOO
The Sprint was the first UK production car, with a 16valve engine, I seem to recall

I do remember rather strangely, that they'd been measured at 41MPH in 1st ( at 6500RPM)

Lewis Collins & Martin Shaw, also worked together in an episode of The New Avengers
(Shaws charactor being an ex-boyfriend of Purdey)

The SD1 is still a handsome looking car.
