Rumours of a new series of Life on Mars... working title Lazarus. Hopefully it won't be shown on the pervert friendly channel and I'll be able to watch it.

We watched "Being Gordon Ramsay" on Netflix last night. I love food and cooking but find the whole fine dining thing a bit crude (£42 for an omellete when there are starving people in the world etc etc).

But it was quite good if you like GR, or at least don't find him irritating

Finished Small Prophets and now waiting for the next series. Lovely little series. Might watch Detectorists again in the meantime.

A random question that occurred to me tonight.
Are all TV series using the same opening credit company as Game of Thrones/Westworld, or is everyone just ripping them off?

Elastic. More specifically, Angus Wall who is a design legend.

He gets ripped off for a good reason. What he's done isn't actually anything new, but it's seriously well done.

LG 55" OLED. Nice.

I have one of those. I love how when you're between scenes (black screen) and you pause the show, the TV looks like it's turned off. No background light at all.

Just finished off the last three episodes of Small Prophets.

I can't see why it was being billed as a comedy, it's difficult to pigeonhole it at all.

And as it's finishing I was disappointed as it seemed to come to a natural conclusion, then up pops, 'to be continued,' I've not got a clue how, but I'm looking forward to it already.

I enjoyed it, I'd have liked a bit more of McKenzie Crook in it though.
Quirky more than comedy I'd say. Not a patch on Detectorists but still good.

I was roaring with laughter. My wife wasn't. Them strokes and folks again. Little things are disproportionally funny to me, the dryer the better.
