I intend to stay on my road bike for decades to come. I will, no doubt, be making ever frequent calls to Dr Michele Ferrari.

I have three road bikes, summer, winter and tourer. As things stand I can’t justify a new bike though have it vaguely in mind for my 65th birthday in summer 2019.

When I retired I had intended to buy a hybrid, equip it with panniers and use it as a shopping bike. It’s an idea I like but know it won’t happen now. I’ve always enjoyed hybrids but just can’t see when I’d ride it!!

I’ve no plans to buy an e-bike but if owning one was the difference between cycling and not cycling I wouldn’t be embarrassed to own one. It’s a decision to be made if/when one reaches that point. It will depend on my ability and those who I ride with.

I have a road bike and a hardtail.
I am a fair weather cyclist so do very little thro winter.
I am thinking of swapping both bikes for just one in between........along the gravel/cx style (maybe flat bars). It would need to have a good spec and be light though.

This is very close to what I want...plus it's the right size.As the Audax has been so successful during my knee injury I want another geared bike.I have two fixies as well...The only drawback with this Ridgeback is I don't like the brake rigging.I prefer 105's.

My idea is to convert to downtube shifters as I have already done on the Audax.

This looks even closer.I like this. Not sure it takes 700x25,though.

At 66 i am riding a Cervelo R5, the next bike i get will have to be lighter, when my legs stop working i will think about an electric bike, but that's a long way of.:okay:
