I don't drink a lot of coffee, but enjoy it when I do. I have been using a cafetiere, grinding the beans first, but was never really happy with the result. So I've recently switched to filter coffee, made on the stove using a nice old style enamel pot and it's much better. I still grind my own beans, but when I've used up this lot I think I'll switch to buying ground. People at work recommend Illy. Is it any good?

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

I'm really not keen on it. It's not as good as people say it is. IMHO

I agree. The tin is the most useful and best part of it. lol

There seems to be a lot of love for Lavazza on here.

Lavazza Oro for me, made in an espresso machine, in a mug with milk warmed in the microwave. Not dissimilar to a flat white.
Or in espresso cups with a shot of Baileys.
Or as espresso with a decent slug of Laphroiag on the side.
