What van?

So was pootling back from Hampton Court and a van had its door open.

An old man in a car hooted at me as I passed the van and when he parked up, I pulled up besides him:

OM: "Aren't you supposed to make room?"

Me: "Not really especially when it's not safe. How was I meant to pass that van door?"

OM: "What van door, I didn't see a van door."

On my very windy ride home earlier there was a long queue of cars all behind a motorbike wanting to turn right across me.

He was waiting for me to clear his path, but the old man in the car behind him was flapping his hands and sounding his horn at the motorcyclists, frustrated at lack of progress. Motorcyclist just told him to shut up.

When I thought about it, if that old man had been at the front of this queue of traffic, he'd most likely have driven straight across my path oblivious to my existence.
