I believe I showed up during Route 66. According to the birth certificate stated time. At least my dad got to see Rawhide!

January 51 but the earliest programs I remember are muffin the mule and watch with mother. a mate asked me if I could remember muffin the mule I said no I must have been drunk

August 1969, Bl00dy cricket! 3rd Test England v New Zealand - though I suspect that was "except for viewers in Scotland..."

Aside from that Dad's Army, Watch with Mother, Play School, Jackanory and The Virginian were all still on through my childhood.
