Didn't realise they had gone. My mom often makes a fruit cocktail trifle and I've seen it stocked down the local corner shop, next to the sliced pineapple.

Can't stand the stuff myself - especially the cherries!!

You can still buy tins of fruit, even fruit cocktail with the cherries in. I get them for my daughter as she loves them, of course I make sure I knick the cherries!
