Lovely to see so many having and making breakfast .The most important meal of the day 😀.

Unfortunately I never have breakfast at home even if Mrs exlaser is cooking . Breakfast is something I would go out to have , once a month at home or on holiday . 😀

this week I have mostly been eating plain Icelandic yogurt with a scoop of ginger preserve in it.

Sometimes as a change from porridge I buy a pot of yoghurt and have that with homemade muesli and fruit. I was confused this week when I opened the pot of yoghurt to see black dots in it. Then I saw that it was vanilla flavour rather than the natural stuff I'd expected. Virtually identical packaging. It's ok, but not the same...

When I make custard for an evening pudding, fruit, fresh or tinned, I make a bit extra & do the Banana Custard so it's nice and cold in the morning 🍌

I buy the cartons of custard from Aldi and heat it** before putting sliced banana in.
** takes 1 minute in the micro.
