I've not been up long, drinking my first coffee. As per my normal of last few years, I'll probably have a piece of fruit in an hour or so, possibly a whole kiwi including skin besides the end with the tough circle. Or a banana.

For years I had to have a bowl of cereal as soon as I surfaced, but that all changed after my long covid began.

There's also the complication that I began taking fenofenadine hayfever tablets in recent years (Allevia and alike), which are to be taken an hour before or two hours after food. But don't take apple; grapefruit; or orange beforehand, it knocks the effectiveness right down!

Found this thread after I’d eaten ! So no pics…..

But today was Bagels, Cream Cheese and Salmon. Probably a once-a-month weekend ‘treat’ for me. Lovely it was too 😁

Normally it's either Weetabix, porridge or Aldi's own brand version of Shreddies.

Today I treated myself to Crunchy Nut Cornflakes.

Followed by toast, sausages, bacon, hash brown, scrambled eggs and beans as I've had a night at a hotel in Manchester.

My breakfast varies and could be any of the following,

Toast on its own or with a topping of eegs, beans or leftovers, cereal (what evers been taken in for the wife and grandchildren), prunes, mixed fruit, nuts, yogurts, cup kefir milk

But always a tea to accompany it, followed by a coffee (made as follows, ground coffee not instant in a mug add fresh boiled water stir allow to settle).

Full English when away from home.

Same as yesterday, and the day before, and the....

It changes between Weetabix in summer and porridge in winter, other than that, it stays the same.
