It was dead easy.

I mean, I've only been down it, like, but it was really easy.

You can ride up anything given enough time and gearing.
Racing up it? That's a different bucket of bananas!

I've done it twice. Once at the end of La Marmotte in 40 degree heat, and once on its own in cool conditions. 1.5 hours on the first go and an hour on the second attempt. I was nearly in tears the first time but loved it on the second go.

My advice is don't try it in the heat having already ridden 100 miles in the mountains cos it really, really hurts.
