Whats my bike worth

Wanting to upgrade my scott s40 speedster to a carbon road bike What i want to know whats it worth its done around 5000 miles its in excellent condition paid £700 new last year

If my LBS is anything to go by when I was trying to sell my bike to/through them, about £250, if not a lot less, but selling privately will possibly raise more cash.

I'd guess at £350-400 maybe on fleabay but you'll pay 10% in fees - depends on groupset, whether those 5000 mile bits need replacing etc. Your location and how many people in those parts are looking to buy will of course have an effect. Ultimately, any used bike is only worth what someone who is wanting to buy is willing to pay
