What's the best cycling book you've read

I enjoyed Millars and Hamiltons books. I've got fed up of reading about drugs in cycling so I'm quite enjoying Victoria Pendletons "Between the lines". There's quite a bit of crying in there though

45 yr old overweight Vietnam veteran gets his old Raleigh out and cycles across America.
Bit OTT in parts but every emotion imaginable

Fignon's book is a good read, keep meaning to try Coppi's.

An amusing book - well worth reading.

One Man and His Bike by Mike Carter
This bloke chucks his job in and cycles round the coastline of Britain. Takes him 6 months.
Inspiring.

Other than Cyclecraft I've never read another book about cycling.

Almost any of Josie Dew's would top my list, followed by several more of hers. I'd then go for Richard's Bicycle Book, preferably one of the earlier editions with the infamous 'dogs' section.

Barbara Savage's Miles from Nowhere. Excellent book and made me realise I could actually (try) to do something similar.
