Strange goings on.... Locally, 187.9/189.9
Topped up with diesel on the A14 main dual carriageway.. 189.9. Normally it's 10p dearer. Same price now 🤷‍♂️

There is now a real concern that the Houthi's will blockade the Bab Al-Mendab Strait in support of Iran, as it is thought that crude oil could get to $200 a barrel, then god knows what a litre of petrol or diesel will cost
Wouldn't normally be that bothered about fuel but we've two trips coming up. One about 220 mile return, the other about 700. Just hope to be able to get fuel.
I believe the price of a litre of petrol was around 89p when the tanker drivers protest took place in 2001. According to the Bank of England inflation calculator that equates to ÂŁ1.69 today, so we ain't done too bad (So far, anyway).
No shortages currently, so keeping fingers crossed for my two 'trips'. Taking MrsF's petrol car to visit my son tomorrow (160 mile round trip). Keeping the fuel in the van so at least we've enough to get to Anglesey and back in a couple of weeks.
Worst case, the trip to the south coast is in MrsF's car if struggling for diesel. Can still get two bikes in the boot at a push.
