I used to love in Tamerton Foliot in Devon. At the village fete I won a competition to see who could pick up most clothes pegs with one hand and was was presented with a bottle of wine by local resident Edward Woodward.

My cousin went to school with Rod Stewart's niece, back in the day when he was seeing Britt Eckland. Thus, my claim to fame is that I have an (admittedly tenuous) link to Britt Eckland.

Tracy Emin visited my stall as have many well know people at The International Eistedfodd in Llnaglooen in Wales. The Duke of Edinburgh made a comment as he passed at another show. A well known rock star bought a lamp off us. I have had work in The Telegraph Magazine, Country Living and a few others. I once went on a cross country run with Stafford Rangers FC which included European cup winner for Nottingham Forest Kenny Burns.

It was 1977 in Saltburn By Sea.......the BBC programme 'Nationwide' was finally ending after donkeys years so the whole BBC presenters toured the country on the 'Nationwide Train' . It was a lovely summer day and the lovely Val was sunbathing laying on her front with her bikini top undone. as luck would have it, as I was passing where she was, she suddenly decided to get up, possibly having forgotten she was all undone. It was a key moment. Life has been downhill after that point.

On the same day I saw Stuart Hall spill beer down his shirt..........another claim to fame.
You sir/madam, are the winner !

I was one of the cast in Chuckle Vision - Cycle Crazy (bike race) - one of the first series (Series 3 episode 13) - our club sec. conned us into it. TBH - Chucklevision has got cult status these days - certainly wasn't cool in the first few series...

I was going to say nothing on you-tube, but it's been uploaded recently.

There are a few of us in dark blue club jerseys - I'm the one on a white and blue Raleigh Road Ace with the white/green cap - note no helmets !

I shall be taking book signings !

Enjoy !!

I'm here !
