arse-biscuits (from Father Ted)

I like Stephen Fry's 'arse-gravy' - ie, nonsense.

Not a made up word, but in my family the microwave is the Mickey Mouse... also used as a verb 'to mickey mouse' something. I have no idea why or where it came from

My current favourite made up word is 'scrappage'. It's all you hear about on TV these days but I don't recall it being used before this government scheme!!
Correctly pronounced, it rhymes with "barrage".

As does Stevenage

The most useful word is surely "doobrie". It comes to the rescue when Stuff and Thing fail to convey the required meaning.

Thrusping. An obscure sexual practice which entails inserting one's head in one's partner's back passage. A whole range of equipment (thrusping helmets, thrusping harnesses) is available to the aspirant thrusper from specialist shops.

Dook. That is our name for our TV remotes.

It's almost worth having a TV remote naming thread!
